To help the world celebrate World Spine Day 2018, Healthstyle Life are running a FREE info night on the ‘Seven Essentials for a Strong Spine’ with Dr Adam Smith (Chiropractor) hosting. Additionally, there are people who want to engage with our content—particularly the content around body positivity and disordered eating—who don’t want to see any messaging at all related to weight or weight loss. It shall begin with the most fundamental element, which is getting to know the healthy eating pyramid.
The primary aim of the project, delivered in partnership with parkrun Bathurst, is to increase the number of people participating in healthy lifestyle programs by promoting better eating habits and active living through a supported, community-based team project.
Having worked with over one thousand individuals, Brian’s developed a warm, motivating & enthusiastic style and approach to fitness that has helped many people weed through all the weight loss and fitness hype and learn what really works. When making dietary decisions, regardless of whether you choose a certain dietary style such as low-carbohydrate or Mediterranean, you can also use the Healthy Eating Plate as a guide for how to fill your plate.
And make it clear that losing weight or focusing on weight loss isn’t right for everyone and can potentially be harmful, particularly for anyone with underlying health conditions, including a history of disordered eating.
